Barbell Piercing
A straight piece of jewelry with threaded ball ends or other decorative finishes.
Labret (Flat Back) Piercing
Originally designed for lip piercings, the flat back end is comfortable against the teeth or gums and less likely to get caught on clothing. Suitable for forward helix or tragus piercings.
Externally Threaded vs Internally Threaded
Externally threaded jewelry has the thread on the outside, while internally threaded has the thread inside. Internally threaded is more comfortable for forward-facing jewels and easier for jewelry that needs to be removed often. Threadless bars also allow for smooth insertion.
