What to Know regarding the piercing of a minor and everything you need to legally have your child pierced at Biolab Piercing Studio
An artist may not perform body piercing on a person younger than 18 without the consent of a parent, managing conservator, or guardian and meeting the requirements of 25 Texas Administrative Code, §229.406(d).
In order for a minor to get a piercing, they must have proper parental consent. This means that a parent must be present and must bring a copy of the minor’s birth certificate and photo ID for both themselves and the minor. They will also have to fill out and sign paperwork in the shop.
If your child has no picture ID then you may bring a school yearbook picture or passport,library card,etc.,
Both the parent present and the minor MUST BE LISTED ON THE B.C.
No Copies will be accepted and must be state issued. We can not accept digital copies of any form of document.
